All, I am from a neighborhood called Mooncrest
in Allegheny County PA. This neighborhood was built to house war workers
during WWII building LST at Dravo Corp. and American bridge. We have recently
had our neighborhood declared a Historic District to honor the workers
and the veterans who lived and worked on LST's. We are interested in finding
all the old photos and information we can about the LST's that were built
at American Bridge and Dravo. Thanks for keeping this bit of history alive.
