Oct. 06, 1944 Liberty granted from 1300 to 2300 in Cologne, Panama
Oct. 08, 1944 Underway proceeding through Canal Zone 0900, left southern
end of Canal Zone at 1800, headed for New Hebrides Islands, 6,000 miles
away.
